Our activities will be guided by group interests and weather.

Tuesdays/Thursdays

Mad Science

"Mad Science" will be a combination of science and Makers. The spring session will be in Miss Sampar's science space for hands-on crafting as well as outdoor science-oriented activities. In addition, the group will explore movement, soda bottle rockets, small boats, and egg drops. We look forward to having this energetic focused group once again.

Fee: $144 for 1 day/week; $288 for 2 days/week; $432 for 3 days/week; $576 for 4 days/week

Skiing/Snowboarding/Tubing Info

Carroll School is excited to once again offer our winter program at Nashoba Valley. This program runs on Fridays beginning January 4, 2019 and ending February 15, 2019 (NOTE: Lessons end on Feb 8). We anticipate a great ski season with lots of snow. Even if the snow is scarce, Nashoba does a tremendous job with snowmaking. Please find the specifics of the program below.

Your child should have enough experience skiing/snowboarding that he/she can be independent with a buddy on the mountain.

If not, the 6-week lesson package is a way for your child to begin their adventures in skiing/snowboarding or refresh their skills. Lessons are 1 hour in length, from 3:00-4:00 pm (after they ski with a Carroll adult). The lift ticket is valid through 10:00 pm. *Lessons Pickup: You will need to pick up your child at the Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Westford at 4:00 pm. They will miss the bus returning to Carroll.

COSTS

  • Ski/Snowboard Lessons - January 4 through February 8 (max 10) - $300
  • Skiing/Snowboarding (max 25 per week) - $55 per week
  • Tubing (max 13 per week) - $55 per week

IMPORTANT INFO

  • HELMETS REQUIRED for all activities.

  • No refunds or credits
  • Considering the long day involved in a Friday Program, it is important to pack a lunch or order a lunch for your child. We will have time to eat before the afternoon activities get started.
  • Pick-up time is at 4:30 at the Mamet Gym (Students taking lessons are picked up at Nashoba Valley Ski area at 4:00 pm)

How to Enroll

  • Spring enrollment opens on Tuesday, Feb 5, 2019 at noon EST and closes at noon on the Wednesday prior to the activity (or sooner if activity fills).
