Beginning Readers (Grades 1-2)
Our Beginning Readers (BR) program is for bright children entering 1st or 2nd grade who struggle with pre-reading and language skills. They may have been formally diagnosed with a specific learning disability (SLD) or a language-based learning difference (LBLD) such as dyslexia; or identified as "at risk" in an early literacy screening.
In the morning, Orton-Gillingham trained educators lead small classes of highly tailored academic instruction for our early learners. In the afternoon, children enjoy some fun summer activities.
