Annual Fund

Every contribution, regardless of size, plays a part in Carroll’s success.

Beyond providing essential funding, your gift sends a message to the community that you believe in Carroll. Beyond this, external institutions look at the participation rate of the Annual Fund when they evaluate the School. These can be a bank, when the school applies for a loan to construct a building; a foundation when the School applies for a grant; or a corporation when the School seeks support from the local business community.

Yes! Our annual fund coincides with the School’s fiscal year: July 1 - June 30. All gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law for the calendar year in which they are made.

Many companies will match an employee’s gift to a school or charitable organization. This is an easy way to increase the impact of your gift and your recognition, as the School will credit you with the total of your gift plus the matching gift.

The School’s fiscal year, and therefore operating budget, runs from July 1 to June 30. You may choose to give at any point in the year, and all pledge payments must be received by June 30. Giving earlier in the fiscal year provides the School with the best financial picture to operate effectively.
