Before and After School Programs at Carroll School

Middle/Upper School After School Programs

The Middle & Upper School After School programs offer a diverse array of activities that explore the many interest of Carroll students and provide opportunities for socialization with friends, exercise, study, play, and creative endeavors.

We offer three programs:

  1. Mon-Thu After School Program: Meets Monday through Thursday, 3:15 to 4:45 pm, 3 sessions, Sign-up is per session
  2. Friday Programs: Meets Friday on (most) early release Fridays until 3:30 pm (unless noted), Sign-up is per activity
  3. Athletics: 3 Seasons, Sign-up is per sport, Go to our Athletics page for more information

Daily Drop-in: For families who need occasional after school for their child in a pinch, we offer a daily drop in option for $25.00. Please note, this is subject to availability. Please email Amber Kuntz, Athletic Director and After School Coordinator. Once your child is confirmed in a program, please also complete the Attendance Form which will alert advisors/faculty to the change in pick-up.

Late Pick-up: We realize that every attempt is made to pick up students on time. However, on a rare occasion should a ride home run late for Middle/Upper School students, there is a fee for picking up your child after 5 pm. Families will be charged $35.00 for pick ups that occur between 5 and 5:30pm and $60.00 for any pick up that occurs after 5:30.

The Pre-Registration Form for Fall 2026 opens July 27th. An email will be sent to parents/caregivers with the form link.

Mon-Thu After School Programs

Our After School program is designed to provide a variety of engaging and fun activities, including art, Bounders, pottery, theater, science, and supervised study activities.

  • Open to all students in Grades 6-9
  • 3:15 - 4:45 PM
  • Sessions:
    • Fall : September 14 - November 19, 2026
    • Winter: November 30, 2026 - February 11, 2027
    • Spring 1 : February 22 - March 18, 2027
    • Spring 2: March 22 - June 3, 2027
  • For pick-up times and locations, please see individual program options below
  • There are no refunds or credits for After School programs
  • Late Pick Ups: Families will be charged $35.00 for pick ups that occur between 5:00 and 5:30 pm and $60.00 for any pick up that occurs after 5:30 pm.

Friday Programs

Friday Programs are fun activities and field trips available for students on most early release Fridays.

  • See calendar below for dates when programs are available, students register for individual programs they want to attend
  • Middle School Students: Pick-up is at the Middle School at 3:30 PM (Unless noted)
  • Upper School Students: Students will be transported to the Middle School at the end of the school day and pick-up is at the Middle School at 3:30 PM (unless noted)
  • Please pack a lunch for your child and plenty to drink
  • There are no refunds or credit for Friday Programs

NOTE: We are offering a limited number of Lower School Friday spots to Middle and Upper School students on days when no program is offered at their home campus. These spaces are limited and subject to availability. Find available dates and register here.
