• No need to register (except for Lower School SPARK program, see below)
• *Please note: Early drop-off starts on Wednesday, Sep 3 for all campuses, except for Lower School SPARK which starts Monday, Sep 8 (Students enrolled in SPARK can attend regular before school from Sep 3-5).

Drop-Off Locations

• Lower School: gym entrance (regular early arrivals head to library, SPARK early arrivals stay in gym)
• Middle School: gym entrance
• Upper School: outside main entrance

SPARK for Lower School

Another early morning alternative for Lower School is the SPARK program (Sports Play and Active Recreation for Kids) which starts at 7:30 am. There is no fee for SPARK, but sign-up is required and is limited to 40 children (first come, first serve). Sign-up is for the full year. After the 40 spots are filled, we will take names for a waitlist. The first day of SPARK is Monday, September 8, 2025. We have reached capacity for SPARK - please complete the form below to be added to the waitlist.

Our partner, Kids' Corner, offers an exceptional, quality After School Program during the school year for grades K-5 on our Waltham campus with experience and engaged teachers and staff. Learn more about the program here.

Kids Corner After School Program at Carroll School

Runs Mondays-Thursdays from 3:15-6:00 PM and Fridays 12:15-6:00 PM, first day for after school is Monday, September 8, 2025. 

Note to bus riders: The late bus picks up at 4:45 Mon-Thu and 3:30 on Fridays.

Registration for School Year 2025-26

The registration period for School Year 25-26 has ended. If families are interested in consistent weekly care, please email our site director, Lauren Bagley, at lauren@kidscornerwinchester.org to see if space is available.

We also offer Drop-in Days for occasional care needs. To sign-up, please register here at least 5 calendar days in advance.

The Middle & Upper School After School programs offer a diverse array of activities that explore the many interest of Carroll students and provide opportunities for socialization with friends, exercise, study, play, and creative endeavors. We offer three programs:

1. Mon-Thu After School Program: Meets Monday through Thursday, 3:15 to 4:45 PM, 3 sessions, Sign-up is per session, 
2. Friday Programs: Meets Friday on (most) early release Fridays until 3:30 PM, Sign-up is per activity
3. Athletics: 3 Seasons, Meets Mon-Thu (except golf) until 4:45 PM unless noted for games/meets, Sign-up is per sport, Go to our Athletics page for more information including the Athletics Participation Health & Safety Info

Daily Drop-in: For families who need occasional after school for their child in a pinch, we offer a daily drop in option for $25.00. Please note, this is subject to availability. Please contact Alyssa DiPaolo at adipaolo@carrollschool.org.

Winter Interest Forms

Interest Forms for the Winter 2025-26 season will be emailed to parents on October 16th and will be open until October 24th. Placements will be shared with families during the week of November 17th.

Friday Programs at the Lower School

We are offering a limited number of Lower School Friday spots to Middle and Upper School students on days when no program is offered at their home campus. These spaces are limited and subject to availability. Please complete this form to indicate your interest for drop-in care.

Please note: We realize that every attempt is made to pick up students on time. However, on a rare occasion should a ride home run late for Middle/Upper School students, there is a fee for picking up your child after 5 pm. Families will be charged $35.00 for pick ups that occur between 5 and 5:30pm and $60.00 for any pick up that occurs after 5:30.
