Co-ed Track and Field

• Coaches: Michael Kmetz, Lauren Casey, Ryan Hablitz, Jim Drotar
• Practice and meets: Monday through Thursday
• Season: March 24 - May 29
• Track events: 50/100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 4x200 relay
• Field events: shot put, long jump, high jump, turbo jav
• Runners will need: athletic clothing (uniform shirt for race day), running shoes, water, snacks

Pick Up Information

• Practices & Meets: All pick-ups, including after away meets, will be at the Lincoln Middle School Campus (25 Baker Bridge Rd) at 4:45
• Transportation:
  • Transportation is provided to and from away meets; Parents can take their child home from away meets, please inform the coach
  • Late Bus Unavailability: The late Local Motion bus will not be available after away meets, as the team will return after the bus has departed. Track meets tend to run longer than other sports events. Students relying on the late Local Motion bus may miss several events. To ensure your child can participate fully, please arrange alternative transportation on meet days.
• Please ensure timely pick-up after practices and meets, as coaches have other responsibilities and families to return to. Per the Parent/Student Handbook (Page 14):
  • A $35 late fee will apply for pick-ups between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM.
  • A $60 late fee will apply for pick-ups after 5:30 PM

Important Notes:

• Parent Attendance: Parents are welcome to attend all games and may take their child home afterward, including from away games.
• Schedule & Updates: Please refer to our athletic calendar (on our website or in our parent app) for updates on game times and schedule changes. Pick-up times are also listed on the schedule.
• Uniforms:
  • Track tanks will be provided and must be returned at the end of the season.
  • No track uniform tanks will be handed out on game day—players must remember to bring their jersey.
