Student Profiles

Beginning Readers

Our Beginning Readers camp is for bright children entering 1st or 2nd grade who struggle with pre-reading and language skills. They may have been formally diagnosed with a specific learning disability (SLD) or a language-based learning disability (LBLD); or identified as "at risk" in an early literacy screening.

Elementary & Middle School

The Elementary and Middle School programs are for bright children entering grades 3-7 who have been diagnosed with a Specific Learning Disability (SLD) in Reading or a Language-Based Learning Disability (LBLD), such as dyslexia. Some applicants may also have challenges with executive function and/or attentional issues. Please see below for application requirements.

High School Readiness

Our High School Readiness program is for rising 8th and 9th grade students who may have executive function challenges that affect academic performance. HSR applicants may have Language-Based Learning Difficulties (LBLD); however, Orton-Gillingham tutoring is not typically offered in this program. The focus of the HSR program is organizational and study skills in preparation for high school. Please see below for application requirements.
