Professional Development Programs for Teachers, Tutors & Educators
We believe that teachers and tutors have the power to change the lives of students and that the best educators are lifelong learners.
Carroll School offers comprehensive teacher trainings, workshops, and masters programs that enrich the professional qualifications of Carroll’s faculty, educators from other schools, and career changers.
Teacher Trainings, Workshops & Masters Programs
The Garside Institute for Teacher Training (GIFTT) offers:
- Orton-Gillingham (O-G) Courses that lead to certification as an Orton-Gillingham language practitioner

Our Math Teacher workshops and trainings are single and multi-day professional development opportunities for educators and other interested professionals.
The Angela Wilkins Program of Graduate Studies in Education is a Master’s Degree of Education Program in Moderate Disabilities. This is a collaborative, school-based program with Lesley University, Carroll School, and Buckingham Browne & Nichols School (BB&N).
Carroll School also provides engaging, research-based professional development opportunities for Carroll’s faculty and often collaborates with innovative educators and researchers to share our expertise at educational conferences and workshops.
