LUNCH OPTIONS

Carroll School provides an option so that families can order hot, delicious and nutritious lunches from La Riviera Gourmet for their children!  We have even made it possible for bag lunches to be provided for those children that are registered for Friday Program as well. Best of all, the school lunches can be ordered and paid for online by using the orderlunches.com site!

Important Program Information

Menu & Dietary Concerns - The Carroll School has contracted with La Riviera Gourmet to prepare the food menu items offered on this site.  La Riviera Gourmet has agreed not to include nuts or nut by-products in any food menu items offered on the orderlunches.com site.
 
PLEASE NOTE, HOWEVER, THAT CERTAIN OF THE INGREDIENTS INCLUDED IN THE PREPARATION OF THE FOOD MENU ITEMS MAY HAVE BEEN PROCESSED IN A FACILITY NUTS OR NUT BY-PRODUCTS. THE CARROLL SCHOOL HAS NO KNOWLEDGE OF ANY INGREDIENTS OF ANY FOOD MENU ITEM. THE CARROLL SCHOOL ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY ILLNESS CAUSED BY ANY FOOD MENU ITEM.  BY VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THE LUNCH PROGRAM, YOU UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH ORDERING THE FOOD.  YOU SHOULD MAKE ALTERNATE LUNCH ARRANGEMENTS IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS.

Meal sizes and pricing - Students may choose from two different portion sizes of each day's meal or may select a different vegetarian salad daily.  Each week there will be a pasta entrée, a  chicken entrée, pizza, a meat entrée and sandwich offering(Friday) and each meal will include a side and dessert.

The regular meal is priced at $5.00 and includes entrée, side and dessert in the following portion sizes:

• Chicken/meat dish: 2 to 4 oz of meat, 2 to 4 oz of vegetables, 2 to 4 oz of carbohydrate and one dessert.
• Pizza: 1 slice, 2 or 4 oz of vegetables and one dessert.
• Sandwich: 1 Sandwich with 2 oz of grilled chicken or turkey with lettuce and tomatoes, 2 to 4 oz of raw vegetables, and one dessert.
• Pasta Dish: 4 to 6 oz of pasta with tomato sauce, 2 to 4 oz of vegetables, and one dessert.
• If not bite sized, meat will be pre-cut.
• Food will not be spicy and will be lower in salt.

The large meal size is priced at $5.54 and includes entrée, side and dessert in the following portion sizes:

• Chicken/meat dish: 4 to 6 oz of meat, 4 to 6 oz of vegetables, 4 to 6 oz of carbohydrate, and one dessert.
• Pizza: 1 large slice, 4 or 6 oz of vegetables and one dessert.
• Sandwich: 2 Sandwiches with 2 oz of grilled chicken, or turkey with lettuce and tomatoes, 4 to 6 oz of raw vegetables, and one dessert.
• Pasta Dish: 6 to 8 oz of Pasta with tomato sauce, 4 to 6 oz of vegetables, and one dessert.

The daily meal-size vegetarian salad is priced at $5.54 and is served with bread and dessert of the day.  Each salad is approximately 16 oz including dressing.

All student meals are served with carton of milk at no additional cost.

Payment Information - The lunch program accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, or your debit card with a Visa or MasterCard logo.  Be sure to proceed to checkout and process your payment with credit card.  Orders that are left in the shopping cart will not be processed.

Changes and Cancellations to Your Order - Changes, additions and cancellations can be made anytime during the open ordering period for each partial month.  Credits will be applied to your next order. After the order period has closed for the partial month, no changes or cancellations can be made.
Minimum Order Fee - A minimum $10 order is required at checkout, otherwise a $1 fee is charged.  This also applies to any changes made to existing orders. If your order change is an even exchange, no minimum order fee is applied. 

Late Orders – Late Orders are not accepted.

Missed Lunches - Credits will not be given for illnesses.  Meals are planned for and food is ordered in advance.  If a student is absent and ordered a lunch, that lunch will be passed on to a child or staff member who may have forgotten to bring a lunch that day.

School Cancellations – La Riviera has agreed to donate any meals that are not delivered in the event of school cancellations due to weather.  There will no reimbursements or credits made to Carroll School or families under these circumstances.
