Now is the Time to Support Carroll!

Steve Wilkins, Head of School, and Bill Copacino, Chair of Carroll’s Board of Trustees, welcomed parents and Carroll supporters to a Town Hall meeting on the Bartlett campus.

Gathered inside the expansive, newly built gym, Steve explained the numerous benefits of acquiring the Bartlett campus. This purchase would solve all of the principal recommendations made in the 2007 Strategic Plan. The highlights of these recommendations include:

  • Photo of Steve Wilkins Presenting at Carroll's Town MeetingIncrease the ability to educate more children with dyslexia. The addition of Bartlett will allow the School to accept approximately 100 more students.
  • Improve the learning environment for every student and provide adjacencies of classroom and tutorial spaces for teachers and tutors;
  • Improve the athletic facilities with a new gym and have additional playing fields;
  • Alleviate the traffic challenges and improve parking;
  • And maintain a strong, sustainable financial model.

In only one month, generous donations from Trustees, parents, past parents, grandparents, alumni, and supporters of Carroll equal approximately $2,000,000. The goal is to raise $6,000,000 by September 15th, the date the Board will take a final vote concerning Bartlett.
