4th Grade Students Create Paper Maché Globes

The 4th grade students had a great time on Friday, September 25th working on paper maché globes as part of the Social Studies curriculum.  It was quite a sight to see all of the students working together trying to balance balloons and cover them with newspaper strips at the same time. The result was thirty-five paper maché globes as well as thirty-five speckled children and five equally speckled teachers!

The students will be painting the globes and adding the continents as they learn to identify all seven.
