On a Friday morning in March, Carroll’s children were immersed in the traditions of diverse cultures from around the world. This cultural adventure was the inspiration of Pat Spence, parent of a 7th grade Carroll student. Seventeen countries were represented, covering the globe from Jamaica to Japan. Carroll students learned about different cultural traditions including observing decorative clothing, tasting delicious food, creating intriguing crafts, playing fun games, and dancing to festive music. The musical selections featured the Jamaican Limbo, Scottish bagpipes, and Greek line dancing. Carroll thanks the many parent volunteers and Co-Chair, Karin Simas, who made this 2nd International Fair a great success.
