Carroll’s Exciting New Opportunity

Carroll has an opportunity to purchase the Bartlett School property, which is just 3.1 miles from our Lincoln campus on Trapelo Road near Route 128. This purchase would be transformational for the School and would ensure our future. This purchase would:

• quickly and efficiently address the very challenging space constraints we have at our current campus, thereby, improving the quality of the learning environment for every student and faculty member;
• allow Carroll to expand openings in the grades with considerable demand which we cannot accommodate today, particularly in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades, as well as permit Carroll to add a 9th grade transition year;
• provide better quality and more appropriate classrooms and tutoring spaces;
• develop our athletics/movement program substantially through the use of the full-sized gymnasium and reclaiming a field on Carroll’s Lincoln campus;
• provide an all-school meeting place, a cafeteria, additional after-school programs, and more.

The cost of the facility, including the purchase price, selected facility improvements, all furnishings and transition costs, is $6,000,000.

Carroll’s immediate challenge is to ensure that our school raises the needed funds to commit to purchasing the Bartlett property in mid-September. Carroll’s leadership and supporters are ready to make this opportunity a reality for Carroll.
