Summer Speaker Series: CarrollMathGayle Lewis Presenting at CarrollMath Summer Speaker Series

Gayle Lewis, Math Department Head at Carroll, addressed over 30 parents in the third Summer Series presentation. Gayle asked the audience what concerns they have for their children learning math. Parents' concerns included: How much of my child's difficulties in learning math are related to his dyslexia?; How do I support my child's fluency with math facts?; My child has a difficult time with the vocabulary of math--there are so many terms to remember; Timed math tests in my child's public school cause him a lot of anxiety. Can this be improved?
