Graduation Day and Award Recipients 2009
Spirits were high as the 8th grade Carroll Class of 2009 graduated on our beautiful campus in Lincoln. The transitioning Middle School students joined the 8th grade students in this ceremony as well. Steve Wilkins, Head of School, and Bill Copacino, Chair of Carroll’s Board of Trustees, spoke about the many accomplishments of the graduating class and the strengths and talents that these Carroll students will bring into the world.
Two students were recognized for their outstanding contributions to their classmates and to the entire Carroll community. The Citizen’s Award was given to Mike, an 8th grade student, who embodies the qualities of honesty, sensitivity, humility, and who is always willing to help others. The Head’s Award was given to Erin, a graduating 8th grade student, who learned to advocate for herself, always encourage others, demonstrate inquisitiveness, work at her highest level, achieve Honors consistently, and one who demonstrated leadership throughout her years at Carroll.
Carroll’s faculty, family members, and trustees are extremely proud of the accomplishments of Carroll’s graduating and transitioning students.
