Carroll's Community Service Projects
Throughout the year, Carroll’s students discover ways that they can help those who are less fortunate. Some of the projects focus on helping those in need during the holiday season while other projects continue throughout the year.
During this holiday season the 4th grade girls’ breakfast group initiated a coat drive. Students and their parents are encouraged to donate any used coats that are clean and in good repair. Please click here to learn more about this coat drive.
The 6th grade students are coordinating a can drive to benefit Sandra’s Lodge in Waltham. Canned goods can be brought to the Middle School homerooms until December 19th.
The 7th grade students are raising funds to purchase some basic winter supplies for the homeless. A family donation of $5.00 from the 7th grade students would be greatly appreciated.
Middle School students, who are known as the “Green Team”, coordinate one of the yearlong projects. The students concentrate their efforts on recycling throughout the campus. At the end of the school year the “Green Team” donates the proceeds gained, after returning recyclables, to a charitable cause.
