Alumni Visit 8th Grade Students

On the morning of Homecoming, 8 alumni returned early to share their high school experiences with current 8th grade students and faculty. Recent Carroll graduates who now attend public, vocational, private day and boarding schools described their new schools and their transition to high school. They also discussed surprises they encountered, strategies they learned at Carroll that they use in high school, and whether or not they felt prepared. According to the alums, the two most important skills they learned at Carroll were self-advocacy and note taking.
