Monday: Boys "B" played host to a very strong Hillside School squad. In spite of being outscored in this match, Carroll played sound positional soccer and showed good improvement in their passing. Coach D was pleased with a whole team effort in this game.
Monday: Carroll Boys "A" traveled to Charles River School for a challenging soccer match. CRS had a marked territorial advantage throughout the game testing the Carroll keeper and defense on numerous occasions. Carroll boys never gave in and played hard throughout the match in spite of losing 3-0. Coach Lynch felt that his team played with determination. He also complimented the Charles River coaches, players, and fans for a very spirited and supportive atmosphere in which to enjoy a soccer match.
Wednesday: The Carroll Girls "B" edged a disciplined Rivers squad in a soccer match played at Carroll. The two previous soccer games clearly showed the areas that the Carroll "B" team needed to improve on. In this close match against Rivers, Carroll showed that practice and hard work can make a dramatic difference. Coach Mamet was extremely pleased with his team's passing and defense throughout the game.
