Alumni Art Show Accepting Submissions

The Carroll School invites alumni to submit their artwork to the Second Annual Alumni Art Show.

The Alumni Art Show will be held November 17th to November 26th weekdays from 8 am to 4 pm in the Cole Room of Storrow House. The exhibit will close on November 26th at 12:30 pm.

Submission Guidelines:

1. Submit your artwork by November 7 with the details of your artwork and display requirements to Ms. Francis, but it must be received by November 7.
2. Drop off your artwork between Monday, November 10 and Friday, November 15, with a card showing your name, graduation year and contact details.  Please make arrangements with Ms. Francis prior to delivery to determine where to deliver your piece.
3. Attend the reception (if you can) on Wednesday, November 26, between 11:00 am and 12:30 pm.
4. Pick up exhibits on November 26 after 12:30 pm, or during school hours (8:00 am to 4:00 pm).

Eligibility of Artists and their Artwork:

• Artist must be an alumnus of The Carroll School.
• Any number of original pieces of art may be submitted (no copies or reproductions).
• All fine art categories are welcome, i.e. drawing, painting, mixed media, sculpture, etc.
• Artwork should feature appropriate content, i.e., no nudity, profanity or offensive subject matter, please.

Requirements for Submission:

• All two-dimensional work must be framed with screw-eyes and wires already attached.
• Any work normally glassed and exceeding 28 inches in either dimension must be under plexiglass only, with the exception of pastels.
• All entries must be hand delivered to The Carroll School, and ready for display by the dates noted above.
