Bench Honoring William and Anne RussellHonoring William and Anne Russell

The Carroll School is honoring William and Anne Russell for their years of service on our School’s Board of Trustees and Anne’s dedication as a teacher and tutor in Carroll’s former High School.

Under a canopy of maple and oak trees, and looking onto a sweeping vista of Flint’s field, a granite bench rests with the following inscription: In Honor of Willy and Anne Russell Dedicated Friends of The Carroll School and The Lincoln Community. A message from Willy speaks to his enthusiasm for Carroll, “The Carroll School is empowering many, many young students who have dyslexia to move forward and enjoy reading and writing! They are empowering themselves! What a blessing!” Dedicated trustees and faculty, like the Russells, have guided our School in the past and will continue to advance our mission to educate children with language-based learning disabilities.
