a. 18 hours of courses offered on Friday afternoon to faculty b. fall series- vertical integration throughout the school c. winter series- new ideas presented from outside experts d. spring series- horizontal integration within grade levels - Master’s of Education Program- Lesley University
a. in collaboration with Buckingham, Browne, and Nichols School b. full 14 month master’s program with course work and practicum c. Carroll benefits from interns working with our children d. Carroll receives vouchers for faculty to take courses e. Carroll faculty can audit courses without a fee - Certification by the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practioners and Educators
a. teachers and tutors are encouraged to pursue membership through AOGPE b. TTI qualifies teachers and tutors to be associate members, and Carroll offers an advanced class to qualify educators to become certified members c. several members of the faculty are fellows (the highest level of AOGPE certification) - Garside Institute for Teacher Training (GIFTT)

a. salary are constructed based on a step system that emphasizes professional growth and continuing education b. all faculty are required to complete the Orton-Gillingham course c. a master’s degree in a related field is required to move to Carroll’s top levels in the salary steps - Summer Curriculum Projects
