Admission to Carroll School is a rolling process which means that there are no application deadlines; we review and process applications as we receive them and the placements in different grades fill accordingly. With that proviso, we encourage families to submit an application as early as possible as many grades are full by the late winter/early spring. You will receive confirmation via email once your file is complete. If you have questions or have not received email confirmation, please email our office at admissions@carrollschool.org
We are not accepting any further applications for grades 6 and 7 for fall 2013 admission. Please contact our office in the fall of 2013 if you are interested in applying for the following school year.
Once we have received a completed application, which includes an application and the necessary evaluations and paperwork, it may take the Admissions Committee up to four weeks to review the completed file. At this point, families will be notified if their child is appropriate for our program or not. You will receive confirmation via email once your file is complete. If a student is deemed an appropriate fit, s/he will be asked to visit our school within a same grade classroom. Admission visits for prospective applicants begin in December and continue through the remainder of the school year. Once a student has completed the school visit, an admission decision is made within one to three weeks, and the family will then have two weeks to complete enrollment and secure a place for their son/daughter.
