MIDDLE SCHOOL WOODWORKING

Middle School students design and create projects using progressively more difficult and complex tools including the bandsaw, lathe, and handheld jigsaws. Students are encouraged to make imaginative projects which range from walking ducks to rocking chair cows, from mini baseball bats to bunk beds for "American Dolls". More attention to planning and detail work is expected of older students. Middle school students are trying to master the use of all available hand and power tools.
