netTrekker
Besides being a student-friendly search engine, netTrekker has great resources for teachers: lesson plans, standards, info on bibliography creation, copyright, and plagiarizing, to name a few. Carroll teachers are already registered. Contact Laurie Lingham if you forgot your user name and password. Carroll families who wish to register should view the registration information in the Parents' Information Center of the Carroll Intranet.

Organizes the Web with 33,000 carefully reviewed resources, including the top 5 percent in education. View the home page of this great site, and choose among many categories for teachers, parents, K-12 kids, and college, or find your topic or school subject.

Classroom Connect is an award-winning provider of online instructional materials for K-12 education, "devoted to helping teachers become better teachers by engaging them in their own learning and inspiring positive change in the classroom."

Internet Public Library
